Harris Cup 2009
The 2009 Harris Cup
Qualifying Tournament was a blast this year. Three people had been
practicing regularly and posting scores in the mid-30’s for the past
month. But, when it came down to the actual tournament, the scores
were pretty high. The lowest score posted was 39, the highest
winning score we’ve had for the past five years of the tournament!
Matt Key (winner the previous two years) posted the 39 and walked
away with the $500 grand prize, a season pass and an entry to the
Harris Cup Tournament. Second place, with a score of 41 was Robert
Feller. Robert won a season pass and the right to compete at the
Harris Cup in New Jersey.
Third place was a struggle. Two people tied with a score of 42.
Third place went to Cindy Phelps after a play-off match with Jon
Hurst.
