Over 130 participants are preparing to take part in the 2008 Senior Games- Miniature Golf competition on June 3rd at Golf Shores Fun Center in Corydon. LifeSpan Resources promotes independent living for persons of all ages and has held the 7-day Senior Games competition annually for more than 20 years to raise money for their “Meals on Wheels” program. Participants from Harrison, Clark, Floyd, and Scott counties will compete against other seniors 55 to 93 in events such as euchre, dancing, horseshoes, golf, bowling, fishing, basketball, and miniature golf during the event that ends June 6th.Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to winners in five age categories for each of the events.
